A very well oiled liar indeed. I kept my hand on my wallet in his presence. My memories aren't as clear as yours seeing as my involvement wasn't a daily one.
And...sometimes even NICE people get sucked into management and can't find their way out.
What's your function in the Postal Universe these days anyhow ?
I was right about something concerning radio? Quick, alert the media! This is bigger than that clusterF### currently going on in New Hampshire. This fact alone should bring Hillary to tears!
I promise not to let it happen again.
I thought it was Pam Brooks as well. I believe it was Joyce DeWitt on "Three's Company". I didn't watch that show much so don't quote me. Maybe Pam's moved on to a DeWitt and is no longer a Brooks. Who the heck knows? She won't join us to keep us from wild speculation.
It isn't real. But I'm lying. Thought you'd rise to the bait of Cage. I recall you remarking on your, ah, admiration for him and the Z guy for some of the same reasons. Of Course Pam expressed some of the same opinions too!
Me, I'm glad this is all now just amusing stories of the past.

A lot of those people used to really torque my bolts (if you get my drift) in the past but I've gotten over each of them. They weren't worth the emotional baggage of carrying around so much despisement.Hating someone requires too much effort, especially when they're out of your life and in no danger of causing further harm.
I was happy I got to make my peace with Kathi Zarecki before she passed. I'd like to think it was important to both of us.
Back when we had the 25th anniversary celebration I remember seeing Pam and for no apparent reason flashed on an incident that had happened YEARS before. I was not able (at that time) to broach the subject with Pam, and I think I behaved badly. I'd like to make up for that at some point during this anniversary celebration. (Y'all really don't need to know what it was about).
My point is, I no longer harbor any ill will towards Tom Z, Cagiano, or anyone from back then. I accept my share of the behavioral issues that led to certain feelings and/or actions. Like you John, I hope we can all have a good laugh about what shitheads we used to be when we were (to use one of my favorite Dylan quotes) "tangled up in blue".
It's ok if Tom reads anything I write. I have fundamental differences with him but I no longer waste any time or energy dispising what he does or who he is. That was so...70's. He's just a shlub making a living like the rest of us, and since I'm out of the radio biz and consider the whole industry increasingly irrelevant, I really don't care what he teaches either. Woe be to anyone who is trying for a career in broadcasting these days!
John, I would submit that you're not fat. Maybe "gravitationally enhanced" would be a better term. Besides you can always say you're in shape. Last I heard, "round" is considered a shape. Good luck with WW.
